Here is a set of two vintage pencil cases with the illustrations by the shojo manga artist Yukiko Tani released by Sun-Star in the 1970s.
Each pencil case opens only on one side with a magnet closing device to fasten the opening cover to the main pencil case.
YUKIKO TANI PENCIL CASE SET CONDITION: Both items are in new and unused condition. Overall, they are in near excellent condition. The front and the back of both pencil cases have retained their original colors and glossiness. There are some surface scratches and marks from handling wear. There is yellowing and aging in the inside of the case. The metal parts have aged and there are marks.
Made in Japan.
